In 1991-1993, the school continued to train officers in the speciality “command tactical motorized rifle troops”, at the same time it was preparing for the multidisciplinary training of future officers.
At the end of the 20th century, cadets of the 134th graduation were the first to vow to defend the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The officers and cadets of the school were repeatedly recruited to perform combat missions, based on the situation in the Central Asian theater of military operations.
During the years of independence, new departments were created, the buildings, premises of the school and the educational and material base were reconstructed. New symbols have been introduced.
