Today, on April 5, the Academy of the Armed Forces hosted an international scientific conference on the topic “Amir Temur- a great statesman and commander”, which was dedicated to the 687th anniversary of the commander.
The conference was attended by researchers of the Academy of the Armed Forces, as well as historians, professors, Ph.D. in history, linguists from the USA, Russia, Belarus, Bangladesh, China, Germany, Italy, Pakistan, Turkey, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan online via a video conferencing platform.
Opening the event, the head of the Academy of the Armed Forces, Colonel Babur Shayakubov, spoke about the generalship of Amir Temur, his tactics, strategic approaches in building a great and powerful State. Then there were lectures by Uzbek and world scientists on such topics as “The manifestation of continuity in the ranks of Amir Temur’s generals”, “The battle of Amir Temur with Tokhtamysh”, “The order and tactics of fighting Temur’s armies”, “The style of command of Amir Temur, manifested in the Indian campaign of 1398”.
During the military-scientific conference, the peculiarities of the personality of Amir Timur, his military leadership, and public administration were again revealed. In particular, the conference allowed young researchers to gain new knowledge and exchange information among themselves.
At the end of the conference, the participants of the conference were awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts.
