An open day was held at the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the motto “The motherland is sacred, its protection is an honorable duty!”, to which more than 100 students of the secondary school of the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region and 40 students of the secondary school No. 308 of the Mirzo–Ulugbek district of the city of Tashkent were invited.
During the event, the students got acquainted with the activities of the academy, the conditions created in it, visited classrooms equipped with modern pedagogical, information and communication technologies and appropriate simulators, where modeling and simulation methods are widely used during the educational process, and also visited the information resource center, thematic classes of Amir Temur and Jaloliddin Manguberdi.
The guests also got acquainted with the activities of the Museum of the History of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Then the students were invited to the large meeting room of the Academy, where a round table was held on the topic “The National Army is a school of courage and bravery”. During the event, detailed information was provided about the reforms carried out in our national army, the order of admission to the Academy of the Armed Forces.
In the final part of the event, a concert program prepared by the military orchestra of the Academy and military personnel was organized for the guests, a documentary film about the activities of the Academy of the Armed Forces was also shown. The students were presented with the magazine “Uzbekiston Army” and booklets telling about the activities of the Academy as gifts.
